Salesforce Analytics Architect

Role Overview


What is the role? 


Analytics Sr. Consultant will join the implementation team at Gerent who shares our vision of bringing the power of cloud computing to enterprises. 


Responsibilities: 


  • Leads discussions with clients to address and answer specific business questions, capture requirements and provide consultative guidance on solution/delivery options 

  • Collaborate with Gerent’s internal business development and client teams to develop innovative analytics solutions that solve business challenges and align to industry best practices 

  • Leads the implementation of technical/architectural aspects of Analytics solutions 

  • Performs analytic software configuration and coding 

  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis to derive actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making for clients.

  • Clearly and succinctly communicates findings and insights to customers with proper verification and validation techniques 

  • Follows internal methodologies and standardized approaches and seeks to continuously improve them based on experience 

  • Implement data governance frameworks and data quality management processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across analytics solutions. Develop strategies for data governance and data stewardship.

  • Assess and mitigate risks related to data security, privacy, and compliance within analytics projects. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Develops and teaches best practices in relevant analytics areas 

  • Mentors and coaches Analytics Associate Consultants 

  • Complete Gerent learning program for Business Analysis and Consultants. Certification path to be determined after start date with your manager. 


Qualifications:


  • Salesforce and/ or Salesforce CRM Analytics (FKA Tableau CRM) consulting experience is a big plus

  • 5+ years of experience in CRMA (FKS Einstein Analytics and Tableau CRM) with SAQL and JSON Knowledge.

  • Focus and experience on CRMA. 5 years working with Analytics tools.

  • Working knowledge of Business Analytics and hands-on experience with one or more data visualization tools E.g. Tableau, Salesforce CRM Analytics (fmr. Tableau CRM), Microsoft Power BI, IBM Cognos, SAS, MicroStrategy etc. 

  • Data preparation for analysis through data manipulation queries (SQL/ No SQL) or ETL 

  • Some working experience in a consulting environment and/or working experience with stakeholders to understand and achieve business goals using data Experience: 

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in working with any BI tool and Collect, cleanse, massage, and organize data in SQL and/ or No-SQL environments. 

  • Ability to understand and/ or define semantic data models as per requirements. 

  • Fluency in SQL and good knowledge of relational databases. 

  • Understanding of Agile software methodology. 

  • Demonstrated experience using statistical and predictive analytics and/or machine learning techniques to solve real business problems 

  • Any BI tool (Tableau, CRM Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, SAS, MicroStrategy etc.) certification is a plus. 

  • Agile Consulting Delivery experience 

  • Salesforce and/ or Salesforce CRM Analytics (fmr. Tableau CRM) consulting experience is a big plus 

  • Practical experience in one or more CRM software products (e.g., Salesforce, Siebel, Oracle, Clarify, Vantive, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, etc.) 

  • Familiarity with Waterfall and/or Agile delivery methodologies 

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team 

  • Demonstrated ability to participate/ lead client interactions and communications 

  • Ability to problem solve creatively and learn quickly 

  • Willingness to help out as needed in the Business Development processes E.g Demo development, proposal writing etc. 

  • Strong understanding and command of the English language including written, analytical and verbal communication skills 

  • Certifications: Salesforce certifications:

    • Tableau CRM & CRM Discovery Consultant

    • Salesforce Administrator

    • Salesforce Business Analyst

    • Nice to have:

    • Data Cloud

    • Tableau analyst certification

    • Tableau desktop


Technical Requirements: 


  • Working with Business Analytics and data visualization tools to perform insights analysis on varied data (E.g. Tableau, Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Birst, Microsoft Power BI, etc.) 

  • Preparing data for analysis through data manipulation, data wrangling or ETL 

  • Visualizing data to communicate insights 

  • Working in a consulting environment and/or working with stakeholders to understand and achieve business goals using data 

  • Demonstrated experience with CRMA, Analytics tools and Salesforce Tableau CRM / T-CRM (previously Einstein Analytics, now CRM Analytics)

  • Salesforce Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, as CRM Analytics is tightly integrated with Salesforce.

  • CRM Analytics Platform: Proficiency in using CRM Analytics tools and features, including Dataflows, Recipes, and Data Explorer.Ability to create and manage datasets to fulfill business requirements and dashboards within CRM Analytics.

  • Data Preparation and Transformation: Experience in data preparation, cleansing, and transformation using Dataflows and Recipes.Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare data for analysis.

  • Dashboard and Widget Creation: Skill in designing and building interactive dashboards with a focus on user experience.Ability to create and customize widgets to present data in meaningful visualizations.

  • Data Analysis, SQL and SAQL(Salesforce Analytics Query Language): Strong data analysis skills with the ability to write SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. Understanding of data quality and governance principles.Proficient in writing SAQL queries for more advanced and customized analytics requirements.Understanding of the SAQL syntax and its application in creating complex data queries.

  • Machine Learning Integration:Familiarity with incorporating machine learning models into Einstein Analytics for predictive analytics.Understanding of how to leverage Einstein Discovery for automated insights.

  • Integration: Knowledge of integrating CRM Analytics with various data sources, including external databases and APIs.Ability to set up data connections and maintain data synchronization.

  • Client Interaction: Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and understand their business requirements.Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Customization and Development: Experience in customizing Salesforce through declarative tools and Apex coding to meet unique business requirements.Knowledge of creating custom analytics components, recipe creation and tweak data flows for dashboards.

  • Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with industry-specific CRM and analytics requirements to tailor solutions to different business domains.

  • Training and Documentation: Ability to provide training to end-users and create comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions.

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead client interactions and communications 

  • Ability to problem solve creatively and learn quickly 

  • Strong understanding and command of the English language including written, analytical and verbal communication skills 

  • Willingness to help out wherever needed 

  • Quality Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
